Inconsistency in what is being displayed in a SharePoint 2007 calendar list via browser vs. SharePoint list via Outlook RRS feed

  • We have a SharePoint calendar list that is email enabled.  There are no special filters on this calendar.  Users get different display results in Sharepoint 2007 calendar list via browser vs. looking at the calendar via a connected SharePoint calendar list via Outlook. 

    - Some events are displayed in both.

    - Some events display via calendar list web part via browser only.

    - Some events display via Outlook connected SharePoint list only.

    When I create an event invite via my personal calendar and send it to the email address of the SharePoint calendar list it works as expected.  I've also tested adding an event via Outlook SharePoint List and SharePoint list and it works as expected.   This seems to happen occasionally and I can't reproduce. 

    Has anyone heard of this happening?
