Job 2103, Driver Memory Test, aborts (cancels) on both HID Device and TouchPad RRS feed

  • Running HCK version 2.0.9200 (Product Version 8.59.29819) on HID Device and HID TouchPad on Windows 8 x64. The Driver Memory Tests abort (automatically cancel) when attempting to run. All other jobs completed successfully. Latest filters and up through QFE 009 installed.

    We've ran many times on these devices and have never seen this problem. Any solutions?

  • The test failed to query performance counter during test initialization and was cancelled by HCK. From the error message, it seems that the performance counter registry is corrupted somehow. Please try to rebuild the performance count library by following this KB

    Instead of using performance counter to query the system memory information. We will use the API GlobalMemoryStatusEx instead.
