Windows Hello and Xbox One Kinect with Adapter Issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I was able to install the Kinect using the adapter and I am able to use it to set up Windows Hello, but it always fails to start when I start up the computer. It takes too long and Windows says the device could not be started. I have to switch over to PIN login and then click on Windows Hello button again in the login screen to manually start the Kinect. Is there a solution to this? Other than this, the device works fine within apps.

  • I have the same problem!!!

I am using Kinect Configuration Verifier to check, it tell's me the USB Controller has a problem (Unknown bandwidth).

I have search online about 2 hours but cannot fix it. The Kinect will disconnect and connect again after login (I hear the sound).
