VBA and Photoshop RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just upgraded from Windows XP 32 to Windows 7 64. And from an old Word version to Microsoft Office for Home and Students. I had a bunch of VBA code (Word macros) that did batch processing of photos in Photoshop. Now they don't work. The VBA editor says it can't load the Photoshop type library or Object Library. Is this a 32 vs 64, XP vs 7, Old Word vs Office for Home and Students, Office for Home and Students vs Office for Home and Business problem, or something else? Can it be fixed? (Photoshop installation went from 32 to 64 on the new PC)

  • Hi Steve,

    Thanks for your post.

Have you re-add reference to Photoshop library after installing new version Office and Photoshop?

If you have tried that, you can try to export these VBA file and import them into a new document to see if it can fix the issue (don’t forget to add reference to the Photoshop library)

    Have a nice day,
