SSRS: intercepting timeout errors for subscriptions RRS feed

  • Hi Experts,

    sometimes my SSRS subscriptions does not send any email, and what I do is to check the log file in the installation folder, it says "e ERROR: Error sending email. Exception: System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: ......"

    Do you suggest any way to programmatically intercept the error, maybe looking at the tables in the ReportServer DB?
    I had a look at the ExecutionLog views, but the status of the subscription is Successful, even if the Log file tells another story.
