Hide scroll bar using overflow-y: scroll RRS feed

    Is there anyway to still have the content scroll using that CSS?  If not, is there another option?  This is a display for management and they don't want to see the vertical scroll bar.

    If I understood correctly, you need hide scrollbar but still want to allow scrolling the page vertically but still want to hide the scroll, then you can make use of ::-webkit-scrollbar {display:none;}. Check out similar thread here:

    1. Allow scroll but hide scrollbar
    2. Hide scroll bar, but still being able to scroll

    hope it helps./.

    Sounds like what I need.  Never seen this syntax, how do I use it either in a .css file or inline?  Also, we only use IE.

    Here is my current div working but still displays the scroll bar.

    <div style="left: 0; right: 0; margin-top: 80px; top: 10px; height: 600px; overflow-y: scroll" >

    This worked for me, thanks for pointing me in the right direction

    <div class="parent">
        <div class="child">
        width: 300px;
        height: 150px;
        border: 1px solid black;
        overflow: hidden;}
      height: 150px;
       width: 318px;
       overflow-y: scroll;
