  • Hi there,

It is interesting that you were able to get the driver running on Galileo. However, the Wireless subsystem is not present in the builds because it is tightly coupled to the User interface stack - which itself is not present because Galileo doesn't have onboard video. This means that Wireless networking won't be available through standard Windows networking API. (Wifi is a critical subsystem and we are taking this feedback to inform Windows 10 for this class of device)

To get wireless working on Galileo, you can use a Wifi Ethernet bridge, or attempt to use a wifi module over SPI, I2C or via UART. We have an Xbee sample which could be Leveraged with an Xbee Wifi (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12571)

    Good luck!
