Visual Studio Community 2015 has stopped 'completely' RRS feed

Visual Studio Community 2015 has become completely disabled by the (Not Responding) message in the Start Page bar.
Interestingly my VS Express 2015 Web does work.
The (Not Responding) message seemed to be getting more frequent and longer and I'm not sure if it is coincidence that upon changing Antivirus software it has got to the stage of permanently stopping progress (I see the Start Page but nothing is clickable).
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi GeoffHome,

I recently encountered the same problem, long time not to turn off the computer, for me(OS: Win 10), open the manager task, to end those backgroud processes which appear many times(Chrome, IIS .etc).

    Best Regards,

    Chris

Thanks Chris.  Tried it but problem remains.  Have proven to myself that it is not the AntiVirus software either.

Have just uninstalled everything to do with vs2015 and then reinstalled vs2015 Community + Upgrades and nothing has changed.

Completely unresponsive.  I've checked for Malware etc. and nothing.  I'm losing confidence fast.

I can't install Windows 10 on this PC because of the motherboard..... I wonder if some update is assuming that everyone is using Windows 10?

    Hi GeoffHome,

Try starting Visual Studio in safe mode.

    Press Windows + R

    Enter

    devenv.exe /SafeMode
