VSTS - Test Manager extension but VS MTM says no license RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have been using Visual Studio Team Services for a while now, but today our test manager users get an error in the Visual Studio Test Manager saying their license expired.

I double checked VSTS site and their extensions are paid for and active. Test manager is included in those subscriptions.

    Help, please!

  • Hi,

Sorry to know Test Manager users on your team are impacted.

Can you please email the name of your VSTS account to devops_tools@microsoft.com so that we can investigate any licensing issues from our end?

    Thanks
    Manoj

  • Cloud you also confirm the version if MTM (VS 2017 or VS 2015)? And that the users have signed into MTM with the same ID that has Test Manager extension assigned to them?

  • Sorry for the delay, was on holiday.

Using Test Manager (VS 2015). Tried the "License with online subscription" link in the window with the license is expired message, and then log in using the same ID as VSTS (making sure to use our organization instead of Microsoft account). It thinks for a moment then comes back to the same screen.

  • Mail to DevOps_Tools got rejected:

    Sender not allowed.

The group only accept messages from people in their organization or on their allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the lists.
