I can't get a wpd file to open/download from a website.  pdf, docx etc. have no problem opening.  Why won't word perfect files open?  They open ok on my development machine using local host.  The error is 404, but I am sure the file is there.

It is blocked by default by IIS, so you need to specifically grant access to this file extension. The simplest is to add a new MIME Type, and I suggest you look at the existing MIME Type for .doc documents to see how that works.
