windows 8.1 32 bits error

Question

Hello friends,

I have an old application still in VFP 7.0, it works usually on WINDOWS 8.1. But, in a new desktop that I bought, when i try to start the application, the dialogs open as the image attached.

It happens just in this machine, that have the same configuration of others in my office:

Processor intel i5, 16 Gb RAM

Sugestions?

Your left screenshot looks, like you turned the windows style to basic.

Look into Display, Personalization, Themes on both computers and compare settings.

VFP9 is the only version having had some bugfixes to work with aero style windows.
