Architecture Choice - Single vs multiple as per application area RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Dear All

We are trying to migrate our Web Application built on 3 Tier Architecture to an architecture that would be amenable for faster changes and also IOT / big data application.

We have read through some architectures such as Micro Service (for fast change applications) and Event Driven (for IOT applications).  We are looking for some guidance on what is the best architecture to choose for our application.

The purpose of our application is to create rapid Use Cases for various customers leveraging Azure related services functions such as Microservices, Logic Apps, IOT Hub, Event Hub, CosmosDB etc. as well as using Progressive Web Applications

I am strictly not a programmer but keen to understand if there is a single architecture that we can use instead of multiple architectures which can be used across Simple, Complex, Changing, Real time application needs

  • The Azure Solution Architectures reference site might be of some value, as you might be able to identify a small mix of go-to solution architectures versus a single do-it-all implementation. I hope this helps.
