Win10 Application Installer to add UEFI 'bcfg driver add 0 UefiDriverFile.efi "Application UefiDriverFile description"'? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible from a Win10 application or installer to do the equivalent of UEFI Shell command 'bcfg driver add 0 UefiDriverFile.efi "Application UefiDriverFile description"'?  If so, how?

Consideration must be made with respect to the UEFI file path to the UefiDriverFile.efi driver file (e.g., FS0:\EFI\ThirdPartyDir\UefiDriverFile.efi).

Related: Is there a way to 'bcfg boot {add,rm,mv} #' from Win10 application/installer as well?
