Where to find the infor about those styles?

    Question

  • Inside of the StandardStyles.xaml, there is a Property tag for the TextBlock:

    <Setter Property="FontFamily" Value="{StaticResource ContentControlThemeFontFamily}"/>

    How do I know which font or font-family is used? Thanks.

  • Like Xianghan Wang says, you can see the current value in the properties dialog. If it is one you defined you can use the "Go to Source" menu to see where it came from.

    You can find the system theme definitions in the SDK in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Include\WinRT\Xaml\Design\themeresources.xaml file. Exactly which resource is used depends on the app and system settings. FontFamily is likely to be fairly consistent, but colours are likely to have different values in high contrast mode.

  • Select the text, open properties panel, expand Text, you can see what is the actual value of the property. In this case, it is Segoe UI.

  • In my case, showed with "Global User Interface". Where to find the value for this one?
