does the azure sdk (ive got 2.9 installed) allow us to create and debug multi factor authentication locally on a development machine or do i need another sdk ? this form of authentication development is very new to me so any help would be appreciated

Hi ,

If you want to build two-step verification directly into the sign-in or transaction processes of applications in your Azure AD tenant , you need to use Multi-Factor Authentication SDK , please refer to below article for how to download the sdk and code sample for standard mode phone verification:
