Will KITL own the ethernet port exclusively? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm debugging a simple tcp client/server program. Server is on WinCE, client is fron win7. But the connection is always timed out. I have test the code when both client and servers are on win7 & wince, it's working. So code should have no problem.

My question is, I'm using KITL, so am I supposed to debug tcp at the same time using the same ethernet port?

    Thanks.

  • Yes, KITL owns the hardware - but you can use VMINI to expose it to the OS as an Ethernet port for apps.
