HTTP 500 Errors in Biztalk RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

At present I am using AS2 protocol in BizTalk 2009 for inbound as well as outbound process and I have developed both interface and this interfaces went live already, now my concern is for an inbound I get one more new requirement from the users but here I am using HTTP receive adapter .

So here I wish for same inbound URL or I need request new URL from the infra team. So here I am little bit confusing but the first inbound interface I have received the files and push into local share folder. But the new interface after receiving the file from the trading partner I have to move these files to local share folder I mean I need to create individual folder.

Note: the first URL like below

    https://b2bprd.com:0001/as2/btshttpreceive.dll

And virtual directory + ISPI extension: /AS2/BTSHTTPReceive.dll

Note: the second URL like below

    https://b2bprd.com:0001/as3/btshttpreceive.dll

And virtual directory + ISPI extension: /AS3/BTSHTTPReceive.dll

But in the second interface, here instead of AS2 I have used AS3. Same time I did virtual directory set-up in IIS server.

While my trading partner tries to send message to us I am getting HTTP 500 error in IIS logs.

Any experts please advise me if I am going to correct way for this development?

    Kind Regards,

    Sankar.

  • You are on the right track. This is how you can have multiple receive location. HTTP 500 means , some error has happened while processing the message . There could be multiple reasons. Check the event viewer first you will get a clue. Etiher the recieve location in admin console is not created, or schemas not deployed or no subscriber, it could be anything. Event viewer will give you a better idea.

  • Did you created any subscribing receive location for this new URL. If not try to create receive location with this new URL under same receive port
