  • Created a People scope is SSP

    The Scope Type is property and the  Property Query is  urn=content-class:SPSPeople . 

    The Behavior is Require - Every item in the scope must match this rule .

    The results are 0 after an update.

  • If you can view user profiles then you need to check your content sources and crawl logs.  Your default content source will typically have a start address including sps3://<servername>.  If you don't have it, you will need to add it and then do a full crawl.  If you do have it, examine the crawl logs and see if there are any errors present.

    Try creating a dedicated content source to crawl your mysites.

    Configure it with the starting address of your mysite webapp.

    Then go for a full crawl. make sure to check the account used for search crawls.
