Can i make .net application developed in Windows 8 run on Windows Embedded Standard 2009

Hi everyone,

I have two question guys

1. Is Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and Windows Embedded XP service pack 3 the same ? 

2. I am about to develop a .net application which will be run on Windows Embedded XP service pack 3,

can i develop it on windows 8 and then make it run on Embedded or not ? 

I really need your help guys, dont like to start developing with fear it wont run later

1. Yes, both of them are the same.

2. Of course, the development is not a question, no matter it is Windows 7 or Windows 8/8/1.
