How to show all shared document s at one place ( ie. Teamsite shared docs and my shared docs) ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am created a MySite in that under my contents I have some shared documents (say doc1,doc2 & dpc3) and also I am added a subsite using TeamSite Template which is having two shared documents ( say doc4 & doc5).

    Now my question is

    1. Is it possible for me to see all shared docs(do1,doc2,doc3,doc4, & doc5) at one place ie. in mycontens shared documents library with out any customization ?

    2. If it not possible through OOB how can I achieve this ?

    Waiting for the solution

    Thanks,

    Ram

  • Just to show the documents, you could use the Content Query Web Part to pull all of the documents but you will not have the same ribbon functionality.

  • To do cross site collection aggregates you can use Search to index and pull the information, there are some third party web parts  that might do what you want and as always, custom code.

I have not tried it but here is some custom code that might work or could be modified:
