Azure AD for Virtual Machines and Office 365 AD Connect Confusion

    Question

  • We are using Azure for hosting 4 VM's and use the single sign on for the remote apps.

Can I use the the same Azure AD for Single Sign on in office 365?

Do I need to install a new instance of Azure Ad Connect to office 365?

Answers

  • Yes, when setting up AAD DS you can specify if it is to replicate off an existing AD/AAD, so that should work. You don't need to install a separate instance of AAD Connect.
