    I have a problem to use jquery blockui,  The problem is if I create a form which including message and button.

    After using the code like following:

      $.blockUI({ message: $('#domForm') });

    the browser show the ui, but the problem is. if I click the button on the domForm, then the new message will not show on the browser,

    unless I use $.unblockUI and recall $.blockUI again.

    Is there any way to make it like modalpopupextender, which mean I can click the event and then it will show the new message directly on

    the browser. Thanks.

    Hi abramhum.c.l,

    Firstly, the jQuery BlockUI Plugin lets us simulate synchronous behavior when using AJAX, without locking the browser. When activated, it will prevent user activity with the page (or part of the page) until it is deactivated.

    if you are not using ajax request and you just want to show a modal popup, you could try to use modalpopupextender or some jQuery modal plugins, such as Bootstrap Modal plugin.

    Secondly, I’d like to know if you are using asp.net button control on domForm, does it cause page post back? Please share us more your html and javascript code.

    Best Regards,

    Fei Han
