wildcard find

    Question

  • VS 2012, C++

    How can a user search ( control - F ) with wildcard?  It was part of VS2008 but now I cannot find it.

    There were a couple of related questions, but not this directly.

    Yup, the search features keep changing. Control-F still works, but rather than wildcards, you can now use regular expressions. This is a much more powerful search tool, and I encourage you to learn regular expressions if you are unfamiliar with them. Personally, I don't miss wildcards because of regular expressions.
