Resizing windows app on Microsoft surface

Question

Hi,

I am developing one Windows 8.1 UWP application,where I am not getting minimize,maximize and close options( i.e app will appear in full screen and there is no option for resize also).So it will be difficult to switch to other screen.Same application will work fine for windows 10 as there is  any way to resize the app in windows 8.1.this problem is there for windows surface pro.

It is system behavior in Windows 8.1 and you may upgrade your surface pro to Windows 8.1 Update which bring some new features. With the Update, you will get the title bar with minimize and close buttons. Also in your app, you will be able to use the taskbar with which you could switch between apps. Make sure that you enable “Show Windows Store apps on the taskbar” option by right-click on taskbar and select Properties.
