    I am a web developer, been developing Coldfusion web application for 6 years, but have been using .NET 1.1 on and off in spare time for a year and have just got WD 2005 Express and wondered if anyone knew of any good tutorial like books that would help me start to build a Web Applications.

    I can use Visual Studio to build web forms, do postback and validation and connect to databases but am looking to go further than simple demos.

     

    Also has anyone read C# Professional by Orielly ? any good ?

    Stephen Walther's ASP.NET 2.0 Unleashed is excellent. Marco Bellinaso's ASP.NET 2.0 Website Programming is for slightly more advanced developers, but is very well structured.
