What is the best way to add purchase options (using credit cards only)? RRS feed

    I am trying to make some of my websites options availble only for paid users and wanted to know what the best way is to do with an asp.net site.

    I have a business account (merchant)

    the u may have to use  payment Gateway such as Paypal. and use there services.

    Hi,

    U may Keep colum in User database "Paid" which has value Yes,No .
    This totally depend if Userpays u can update by admin section.

    But what I mean is the part that I should implement for the credit card information and stuff like that.

    What form do I use to get information from users credit card and charge them?

    Your best bet is to use a payment services gateway like PayPal or PayPals PayFlowPro products.  With these sites, you design your own screens to collect the information, and then send it off to PayPal or PayFlowPro to do the actual payment processing.  All you get in return is the results of the transaction.  This style of payment processing benefits you the developer greatly by not having to be PCI compliant as you do not need to store any of the credit card data.  You pay for the service and have them do all of the work.  Obviously you need to secure your pages when collecting this data with and SSL certificate.  Other than that it is just a matter of paying for the service.

    PayPal has an extensive developer network including documentation and forums just to begin.  You may want to look around at some of their services to see if it fits your needs.  Below are some links that may help you:
