How to create a setup package for small basic RRS feed

  • Question

  •     Hi friends,

Does anybody know if it is possible to make a setup package for a program that you make with small basic so it could be run on any computer? It would be very nice if such a feature would be added to small basic like many other professional programming languages like visual basic or c++. I think it is great step towards increasing small basic's popularity among programmers.

      Thank you in advance

  • Small Basic v1.0 generates a .Net Framework type compiled .exe, plus a SmallBasicLibrary.dll files every time you run it inside its IDE.

To run that .exe file, you just need to have SmallBasicLibrary.dll inside the same folder and make sure the OS has .Net Framework v3.5 SP1 installed correctly.

Windows 7 and forward already has it built-in. For Vista and previous Windows versions, that framework ought to be installed!
