Invoking Office communicator through asp.net application

I want to write a service in asp.net C# which will provide interface to office communicator. Any information related to this is welcome.

Hi, There is a readymade control available as Presence control which does everything for you. So just search for the "Presence Control" on google you will get everything for it.
