Visual Studio 2012 /FAcs option Does Not Produce .cod files

    Question

  • The project is set up as a static lib.  In fact, the same project in Debug DOES produce the .cod files.  Only in Release does it fail.  How can I go about debugging this?

    Thanks,

    -Rob

  • I GOT IT!!!!

And to avoid the ever so common "Where are you DenverCoder2231!?!?!?!"

I removed the /GL option.  That is what was overriding the  /FAcs option.

  • A better way to go about this would be to figure out why the Application linking against the Static Lib needs the .cod files.  I feel like .obj should be sufficient.
