MFC, VC++, How to use custom control? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have created a MFC dialog base application. Now I am trying to add a custom control to it. I jsut dragged and dropped a custom control from toolbox. Assigned a class to it. (the class is created by me. I have registered the class and declared three method OnPaint, OnEraseBkground and PreSubClassWnd)

Now when I am trying to launch the application. It simply didn't turn up. As per output window, it has detected memory leaks and exited with error code 0. Moreover no function other than the constructors are being called.

  • Hi Ansh84,

    Thanks for your post.

I think this issue is more relevant to MFC programming,

I'm going to move it to MFC forum for better support.
