Issue with label command through command line RRS feed

  • I'm trying to assign lable to a file but getting this error:

    $tf label qa -version:6154 $/PPM/EBS/XXBEF_TOP/Sql/ppmtest.sql -login:PPMTFS,TFS.password01
    The item U:\opt\ppm_stage\tfs\EBS\XXBEF_TOP\Sql\qa does not exist at the specified version, or you do not have permission to access it.
    Updated label qa@$/PPM

    any thoughts?

    What's the version of TFS you are using?

    Please check your permission first. As far as I know, to use the label command, you must have the Label permission set to Allow. To modify or delete labels created by other users, you must have the Administer labels permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions .
