Call specific method of java web service wsdl from win 8 html/javascript RRS feed

  • Hello ,

    I created java web service wsdl and in that I created method sendMail() which send the mail.And this web service is hosted on server.

    I want to call that sendMail() method from javascript of win 8 app to send mail on button click from my local machine.

    Please help me on this ASAP....

    You can use Winjs.xhr to do that. For example,

     function CallData() {
            var person = { 'Name': 'Name'};
                type: "POST",
                url: "http://www.xxx.com/WebService.asmx/method",
                headers: { "Content-type": "application/json" },
                data: JSON.stringify(person)
            }).then(function complete(request) {
                var resdata = request.responseText;
            }, function error(er) {
                var err = er.statusText;
