Getting User Information via JavaScript API for Office in App for Word 2013 RRS feed

    Did you mean that you want to get the current account who log in the Office? As far as I know, it is not supported at present version of apps for Office. If you want to apps for Office support this feature, I suggest that you submit the feedback from link below:

    As far as I konw, there is also no such function in JavaScript API for Office. And based on my understanding, it is hard to get it bacause the JavaScript is designed for Client and run in the web broswer, there is securty limitation to access the information of Operating system.

    Also we couldn't use ActiveX control in apps for Office.
