  • Hello,

I have a C++ executable file i wrote that is using external DLLs and Lib.

The first line of the main function prints a message to the screen and i have a function that is calling the included lib file (the lib file not something i wrote or have access to it's code).

When i run this file under windows container i cannot see the output and i cannot see any errors.

If i remove the line that is calling to the included lib and run the exe in the container i can see the output.

My assumption is that my container is missing some windows feature / some installation but i cannot understand what it's missing cause i cannot see any errors. Usually, in case of missing Dlls i get an error messagebox which obesely is not helpful in case i run it in the container.

What i have tried to do is:

    1. Look at the eventviewer using wevtutil but could not find any errors.

    2. Use RDP but it's not working on TP5.

    3. Install VNCServer on the container but when i login i see only black screen and i am unable to do anything with it.

    4. Get all the DLLs my project is referencing (using PE Explorer) and copy them to the local folder - still no result.

    My questions are:

Is there any way to get the content of popup messages from the container ?

Is there any way to get more useful logs from the container ?
