  • Hi Terry!

I'm trying to get my existing apps (both mail read and mail compose) to work on android, iPad, and iPhone devices.

According to the document at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/add-ins/outlook-mobile-addins, only mail read messages are supported on mobile apps.

Is it true that this is still the case and that I can't port my MessageComposeCommandSurface apps to mobile?

    Also, where can I get documentation of <VersionOverrides xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/mailappversionoverrides/1.1" xsi:type="VersionOverridesV1_1"> ?

  • Hello Ephraim,

As far as I know, mobile add-in could only read mail message at present.

I would suggest you refer to below thread to change your code.

    Outlook Mobile Add-in manifest sample?

    Best Regards,
