How to use <BuildOnLoad> in vstemplate file RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I would like to use BuildOnLoad, so that the project build automatically; while creating through project template.

    I tried using <BuildOnLoad> under roottemplate.vstempalte (i have multi project template) but the projects are not building.

    Do we have dependecies to use this tag under vs2010.

    I See, we have <BuildProjectOnload> tag under 2012 and is working exactly what was i am expecting.

    Do we have anything equivalent to this tag or did i miss anything for <BuildOnLoad> tag under vs2010.

    Please Help :)

    Thanks in advance...

  • Hi,

    I did some tests in my computer. It didn't work, when I defined it under <TemplateData>. However it worked when I add it into TemplateContent tag like:

    <TemplateContent BuildOnLoad="true">
    ...
    </TemplateContent>

    Please define it like this and have a more try.
