  • Hi PWA Experts,

Could you please help me on the below issue... I am getting the SOAP exception issue while updating the lookup table using custom code and I followed this below Microsoft article to update.

    Article :  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/office/project-class/gg210615(v%3Doffice.15)

    Code snippet:

    -------------------------------------------------

[SoapDocumentMethodAttribute("http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/project/server/webservices/LookupTable/UpdateLookupTables", RequestNamespace = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/project/server/webservices/LookupTable/", ResponseNamespace = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/project/server/webservices/LookupTable/", Use = SoapBindingUse.Literal, ParameterStyle = SoapParameterStyle.Wrapped)] public void UpdateLookupTables( LookupTableDataSet ltds, bool validateOnly, bool autoCheckIn, int language )

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Before the code worked well with No issues and the issue got started since January 2019.

Error while updating the look up table is:

LogException2","out side SoAP errorSystem.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Unhandled Communication Fault occurred
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
       at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at PWATools.Library.ProjectServerLookupTable.LookupTable.UpdateLookupTables(LookupTableDataSet ltds, Boolean validateOnly, Boolean autoCheckIn, Int32 language)

the custom solution will read the values from timesheet application and update the look up table into the project server. while updating the values we facing soap exception. please help and suggest us in this request. thank you.
