Add new record link to Auto Complete Box Footer RRS feed

    I know we can add a link button to a form below the auto complete drop down box but that does not work so well in the list details grid view screen when you add a record and it opens the default add screen.  When you select the dropdown it displays the list and a footer. The footer contains a refresh link. Is there a way to add a "Add New" link to the right side of the footer that can open the default add screen for that entity?

    What you are talking about is to add something in rounded corner:

     

    I don't think so it is possible using autogenerated ACB control. You need to create custom control to add something in footer of ACB.
