  • Hi,

[12/24/13,20:08:35] Microsoft .NET Framework 4: [2] Error code 1603 for this component means "Fatal error during installation.
    "
[12/24/13,20:08:35] Microsoft .NET Framework 4: [2] Setup Failed on component Microsoft .NET Framework 4
[12/24/13,20:08:36] VS70pgui: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is not installed.
[12/24/13,20:08:36] VS70pgui: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 64bit Prerequisites (x64) was not attempted to be installed.

From the error message, the installation of .Net framework 4.0 failed. And error code is 1603. This is a general summary error.

So I need you do these step:

    1. Please clarify your OS version.

    2. Use the .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool to verify the installation state of .NET Framework
    Download from :
    http://blogs.msdn.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer-Components-PostAttachments/00-08-99-90-04/netfx_5F00_setupverifier_5F00_new.zip
If the verification tool finds any issues, there is a .NET Framework Repair Tool that can be found at the following locations:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2698555
More information is in the blog at the following locations.

If it can't solve your issue, please upload the verification log to https://skydrive.live.com/ and share the link to here.

    Regards.
