How to get the text position in a word document (VB script) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a word document, in which I have to validate the correct position of text, like the Date should be on the right side ( may be after 50 spaces from the beginning) or at certain position w.r.to ruler.

How to identify the position of a text when there are spaces before it

    Thanks

  • Hi JS

    Range.Information(wdHorizontalPositionRelativeToPage)

There's also an enum member that will give you the position relative to the text boundary (margin, for example).
