Dynamic linq to dataset RRS feed

  • Question

  • How to build small application (like Linq pad) where I can write dynamic linq queries (inside memo) and get dataset/datatable result (bind result to DataGridView)? Is there any example like this...

    Thanks.

Answers

  • No, there is no example, LinqPad is a full fledge program. That question is analogous to asking how does one create an enterprise application. A simple answer cannot be given.

  • Thanks. I didn't want to ask "how to create enterprise application", I just want to know if there is simple way to create runtime/dynamic linq queries. As I understand from your answer there is no easy way to do it (some class which can parse/compile linq from text box etc...).
