How to use Kernel tracker in Windows Embedded compact 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • How to use kernel tracker in Windows compact 7?

We have tested in WinCE 6.0 using KITL. In windows compact 7 we tried to open kernel tracker using KITL and active sync. It is not getting connected. Whenever we connected the kernel tracker, it is asking a .clg file to open. But in WinCE 6.0 it is directly opening Kernel tracker.

We tried connecting other remote tools(performance monitor, etc.) in Win CE 7.0. We are able to connect.

  •  You should setup event tracking log and capture .CLG file. Then, inspect it by Kernel Tracker in "offline" mode.

Please note, that there is a known issue - Kernel Tracker doesn't support SMP target logs yet (next monthly update is coming)
