MS Project file open in SharePoint

Question

Hi,

I have uploaded MS Project files in my SP Foundation librarty. But when I wan't to open it in browser I get an error:

no apps are installed to open this type of link (ms-project). 

How can I fix it?

SharePoint sites has no support for MPP Files.  You can only export the project tasks to a Task List in SharePoint Site.  The functionality to work with projects directly is provided by Microsoft Project Server 2013, which is a complete Enterprise Project Management Solution.

But if is compatibile with SP Foundation?

Export project tasks works with SharePoint Foundation but you will have to export them directly from Project Pro. Project Server needs SharePoint Server enterprise.  Foundation does not work.
