RTC wake up error during CHAOS test in 2008 server r2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am running DTM for digital signature in microsoft 2008 server r2. During a sub-test named as "pwrtest" in CHAOS test an error message is given. "System does not support RTC wake". I could not find any BIOS option for enabling RTC wake up. How do I enable RTC Wake enable?

    Thanks in advance.

  • This problem has been resolved. Though the machine does not support RTC wake up and a sub-test pwrtest marked as "failed" of CHAOS in DTM, it does not effect on overall stuatus in CHAOS test. It marked as "passes". So no issue if the machine does not support RTC wake up.

    Thanks,

  •   I don't think you can, it look like you'll need a newer system.

  • Are you using WLK 1.6 or WHCK 2.0? What type of driver are you testing using HCK?

You may have to use a system that supports RTC wake for your driver submission testing.

  • I am using WLK 1.6.

Its a Virtual miniport driver .

I am running this test under unclassified category in DTM.
