We have multiple embedded reports using strongly typed datasets. Everything was working great with these until just a few days ago.
Now when we open the .rdlc file, and go to Report\DataSources, it returns a Microsoft Visual Studio error box saying Root element is missing.
If you open up the .rdlc file outside of the project, you can go into the Report Data Sources fine (it will not show any because there are none obviously).
It seems as if there is an issue with the loading of the Project data sources combo box on the Report Data Sources form, but not sure how to figure out what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
