  • for the recovery of Exchange server database there are several inbuilt solutions are available. If you find that edb file is corrupted & database is in dirty shutdown state then ESEUTIL/R switch is used for the recovery. • Well said Hestermatt.

Yes, MS ESEUTIL/R is also capable to resolve exchange database issues but it demands a good technical expertise which is bit complicated for those who are not familiar with ESEUTIL. So usage of any effective resource could be more handy for them who waste their precious time to get resolved such issues instantly.

One can also have a look at website (http://www.exchangerecoveryreview.com/) which successfully repairs and restore corrupt exchange server database with complete accuracy. Apart from this, it provides the complete restoration solution of emails from backup, email (import/export), as well as email migration solution.

  • I think that implementing "Lagged Mailbox Database Copy" is a much better solution for your problem.

A lagged database copy is one that is not updated by replaying transactions as they become available. Instead, the transaction logs are kept for a certain period and are then replayed.

  • Definitely it is wise to use a software but it is also worth to put your money into buying the right software, since there are lots of software available in the market it is difficult to choose the right one.

Online reviews can be the criteria but most of the review are biased and have been written in exchange of money, you will hardly find any unbiased reviews on internet. The truth is that whenever you read a review it always recommends you that software, review tells that the software is truly beneficial and the best in the market.

Only two purpose of these reviews

    1. Take money from the software developer/marketer and write a positive review.

    2. Use affiliate links within the review content and sell the software through it,

JUST wanted to say to research well about any software you purchase.
