List of Reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I'm new to ReportViewer. Recently I created a report by using ReportViewer control in local mode, under VWD 2008 Express, C#, ASP.NET 3.5 and SQL Server 2008 Express and the report accepts an ID as the parameter. My question is, if I want to create a report, which accepts a range of the IDs and generate a list of reports. When the user presses the print button, the program will print all of these reports in one go, how can I do that?

    Thanks,
    John

  • I'm waiting for this 1 also. I just don't understand how to make it work.
I hope the waiting won't be long here.

  • John.Iam,

Can you explain in more detail?

Are you trying to take in a list of of ID's and then create one report per ID? Is the intent to make many instances of the same report for each ID?

  • Hi Eric,

The ID is the report ID, so I created a report template which takes the report ID to generate the report. Now, I want to create another report template which takes two IDs, the first ID and the last ID, so that it will generate all of these reports into the same report template and the user will be able to click on the print button and print all of these report in one go.
