ServiceRoute with placeholders RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to implement a data service with asp.net 4 routing with placeholders. Using ServiceRoute works fine as long as I don't try to use placeholders in my route.

If i try to use a placeholder, I get an exception saying "The input value of 'routePrefix' contains CurlyBracket (i.e., '{' and '}'), which is not allowed in service route."

I guess I could try to implement System.Data.Services.IDataServiceHost2, but it seems like taking over a lot of responsability and risk of implementing wrong/bad behavior, so I would like to avoid that if possible.

    Any ideas?

  • Rasmus,

Did you ever find a resolution to your issue? I am encountering the same problem.
