Passing values of a Multiple-Selection List box of InfoPath to a SharePoint list RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have a scenario like this:

    1. Have a List A (ID, Title). And List B with a Lookup column (ColumnB) to List A "Title" column. Allowed multiple selection

    2. Have a Multi-Selection List box (Get values using a data connection of List A of Title column) in InfoPath 2010 form (Done)

    3. On click of Submit button, the form shall be submitted to a form library (Done)

    3. SharePoint designer 2010 Workflow shall trigger on Item added in Form library

3.a. Add item to List B with Column B values as selected in InfoPath form of Multi-Selection List Box.

Not able to achieve this 3.a through Designer workflow. Only the first value is getting added to the list item.

Errors: The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.

  • This is the pre-2010 forum.  Is your question only about 2010?

SPD cannot parse through repeating items like that.
