AD to ADAM without copying data to ADAM. RRS feed

Requirement: I want the AD Users and AD Groups information to be in Active Directory. I would like to have a live connection between AD and ADAM. ADAM will have roles and tasks. Question: 1) Is it possible to establish a connection between AD and ADAM? If so, How? I need a connection that doesn't transfer data from AD to ADAM. 2) How to map AD Groups and ADAM Roles in such situation?

Absolutely. I actually looked into this for a bit for one of my solutions...

Take a look here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/adam/ADAMfaq.mspx - specifically at the last FAQ (under Data) which points to you the Identity Integration Feature Pack...

    Hope this helps...

Thats a good one. It is mentioned as MIIS2003. I am looking for information about ADAM Synchronizer. Will ADAM Synchroniser make a copy of data from AD to ADAM? if so, will it update the changes made in AD, to ADAM, automatically?
